I don’t know about your kid, but I think my kid is pretty smart.
The education system today seems to want to make everybody equal has been around for centuries in Europe and the world.
During King Arthur’s time if your Dad was a sheepherder you became a sheepherder. People maintained the equal status to where they were born and were not to question the wisdom of the king.
The U.S. was founded on the principle that every man had the liberty to choose his own destiny. He could remain on the plantation and serve or break free to become whatever he wished.
Daniel Boone started out as a farmer and professional hunter and went on to become a legislator. He was not bound to remain where he was born.
I don’t know what Bill Gates Dad did, but Bill had an idea and worked hard to produce a product people want and has become a billionaire. He did not steal any money from anyone. He gave them a product they felt was worth what was paid for it.
Europe remained status quo for centuries because the little guy was not allowed the liberty to break out of a boundary set by the king. When the American slaves were freed in 1865 they were allowed to progress to another level. Prejudice, of course, hindered this, but it seems a great majority still prefer to remain on the plantation.
That is the great secret of this country. You don’t have to be and, in fact, you don’t want to be “equal”. Each person is allowed to set his own personal standard. Not one set by the king or as we know it today, Congress, the central government. Each time Congress passes a new law or regulation it takes away the liberty and creativity of the individual.
I don’t think Bill Gates would have been able to start his computer business today because of the myriad rules and regulations. Would the local regulations allow him to operate in his garage? My kid will have a tough time going into business for himself.
The reason America is the place everyone in the world wants to come to is because we have had freedom, liberty, to pursue our lifestyle and keep what we worked hard to achieve.
There will always be a few crooks, but 99% of the products we have in our homes were produced by honest people who do not steal. It has been private enterprise, not making everyone average, that has made the U.S. the beacon of hope for people.
When the central government tries to make everyone equal it only succeeds in dumbing down people to be average. It stops creativity.
Do you think of yourself as average? Is that what you want your kid to be?
The U.S. will not survive equality.

If you only learned one method of technical analysis this would have kept you out of the 2000 and 2008 crashes and will keep you out of the next one that is coming soon.
